Through regular gatherings, members expand the realm of knowledge of the special events industry. Members learn about new venues in their community, the latest in special effects and décor ideas, products that appeal to all the senses, and what is new on the national and international scene.

CSES promotes its members in the Meeting Places Guide which is published once a year in November by Business in Vancouver.

In addition to the on-line member directory, every member is provided access to a member directory and password protected member log-in on the CSES website. Each member is encouraged to create affiliations with other members. The CSES office provides an up-to-the-minute membership list of all members in specific business categories upon requests between issues. - Prospective client to member
The CSES office maintains a current membership list on the website where prospective clients can search for a member by business category or name.
Events & Trade Show
- Annual Gala Event
CSES members will be given the opportunity to sponsor an event produced by CSES members, to showcase their services to current and prospective clients. - Special Event Exposition
CSES maintains a presence to promote its members at the Canadian Special Events and Meetings Expo (CSEME) held in Vancouver every year.
Certification
- Special Events Coordinator and Manager
Through CSES, members can become "certified" as an Event Coordinator or Event Manager. Certification shows clients that you are a trained Events professional and experienced in producing events. (See Certification section on this web site)
